About
Julie’s Story
As a child, Julie loved talking to elderly neighbors, fascinated by their life stories. That curiosity grew into a genuine interest in aging and brain health. When memory loss impacted loved ones, the Alzheimer's Association became a vital resource for her, leading her to become a dedicated Community Educator.
While volunteering at the Intercultural Senior Center, she presented an educational series in various languages with the help of translators. "Connecting with people in their native language is so rewarding. I hope more materials can be made available in multiple languages," Julie said.
Thinking about volunteering? Julie says, "There are so many ways to make a difference. The staff and volunteers are caring, enthusiastic, and always supportive. Come share your passion and skills with us!"
